A recent Austrian study has recommended Microlife's new forehead thermometer for home use and rated it as the preferred thermometer when compared to other brands(1)
The Switzerland-based company's latest and innovative forehead thermometer, FR100, uses Silent Glow™, US patented, infrared technology to enable easy readability of high temperatures, a red light will show if temperatures exceed 37.5 degrees Celsius.
The unique probe's assembly and an advanced infrared sensor offers accurate and reliable temperature measurements. Endorsed by doctors the Swiss designed thermometer is currently rated among the fastest temperature measurement devices available in the market.
The FR100's unique scanning mode allows measurement in a matter of seconds by simply scanning the eyebrow area, after 3 seconds a measurement will be displayed on the LCD. President of Microlife, Ty-Minh Tan said; "Our monitors not only have unique patented technology but are also being recommended by clinical leaders who are carrying out these important independent studies, which is helping us to lead the way."
As with most of Microlife's products the novel thermometer is intended for home use and features unique design attributes that have been geared to achieving maximum user-friendliness and comfort.
Frost & Sullivan recognized the Microlife's concentrated R&D efforts in developing and introducing technologically advanced, pioneering products to the European market for temperature monitoring devices with the Product Differentiation Innovation Award.
